Your garage doors, for either your home or business, are large and heavy objects that repeatedly need to operate on a daily basis. To help prevent functional issues and to maintain the operational safety of the door systems, it is important to have routine maintenance checks.
AV Overhead Garage Door offers both residential and commercial V.I.P. Preventative Maintenance Programs. There is no cost to join the program, you just pay at the time of your annual or semi-annual maintenance visits. The program provides many benefits, including discounts on labor and parts if needed.

Our commercial garage door
V.I.P. Preventative Maintenance Program
Our commercial V.I.P. Preventative Maintenance Program is customized to fit your needs. Choose from one to four maintenance visits per year. We provide a free, initial survey/consultation visit at your business location to discuss your requirements, current repair issues, and more. We will then document all existing doors and equipment you would like included as well as the age of each. Upon completion of the assessment, you will receive a written estimate detailing your specific maintenance program.
Our maintenance inspections include the following:
- Tightening or replacing defective bolts and nuts
- Lubrication of rollers, pulleys and cables
- Adjustment of garage door springs
- Adjustment of electric door openers, tightening of chains
- Setting limit switches and lubrication of the whole drive mechanism
- Written inspection notification of any safety issues or needed repairs
- Written proposal for any recommended repairs and/or replacements
As a commercial program member, you will receive a 10% discount on labor and parts that are identified during your scheduled maintenance with us. This includes recommended repairs or replacements. As a AV Overhead Garage Door V.I.P. member, you will also receive exclusive discounts and special offers on new doors, new openers, opener accessories or repairs.
Our residential garage door
V.I.P. Preventative Maintenance Program
Homeowners can take advantage of our V.I.P. Preventative Maintenance Program. We help you avoid the unexpected by assessing your garage door system. There is no upfront cost. As a member, you pay $125 at the time of your inspection. The program includes an annual maintenance and safety evaluation of up to three residential doors and openers in your home.
Each annual inspections includes:
- Tightening or replacing defective bolts and nuts
- Lubrication of rollers, pulleys and cables
- Adjustment of garage door springs
- Adjustment of electric door openers, tightening of chains
- Assessment/replacement of keyless entry/transmitter batteries (up to 2)
- Written inspection notification of any safety issues or needed repairs
Our service technician will discuss any repair and/or replacement recommendations prior to his departure. As a residential program member, you will receive a 10% discount on labor and parts that are identified during your scheduled maintenance call. As a member, you will also receive exclusive discounts and special offers on new doors, new openers, opener accessories or repairs.
